London: J. Payne, 1764. Here is an 18th-Century travel book describing the wonders of China, Japan, Africa and Egypt. First Edition, Volume Twelve only of an original fourteen in the set. Scarce. Very Good condition. Full leather binding with five raised bands on the spine; stamped decorations and "12" in gilt. Clean text; 215 pages. There are ten engraved illustrations, including a fold-out illustration of the pyramids. Rubbed at the margins, but not badly. Some toning to the text, with some scattered spotting, but generally nice, clear, and bright. . First Edition. Full-Leather. Very Good/No Jacket. 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall.
