Includes long essays on 68 writers and poets along with 100's of terrific photos and illustrations. Published without dustjackets both volumes are fine. Published as part of the impressive Dictionary of Literary Biography series. Uncommon. Laid in his a large 4pg. foldover program for an exhibition on writers and magazines of the lower eastside circa 1960-1980 that was held at The New York Public Library. Also laid in is a nice foldover announcement poster for the exhibition Beat Memories, the photographs of allen ginsberg that was held at the Grey Art Gallery in NYC.
