Light blue cloth bindings except 1933 which is red, all clean and unworn, only fault is narrow faded strip bottom 1933. 1933 Vol: 470 pp., numerous photos and occ. text figs, illustrated end-papers, small tanning patch to outer edge of front pastedown, short gift inscription to front blank fly leaf, , unclipped jacket in acetate sleeve as acquired, very slight spine rubbing, back has widespread light grey patches, Moorfields Eye Hospital appeal to rear wraparound - perhaps dust VG- for age; 1948 Vol: f/piece+152, numerous photo-plates ex-pagination, faint hints of tanning to end-papers, otherwise clean, tight and unmarked, unclipped jacket sealed as acquired, clean but some edge-rubbing and a 3 cm tear to top front edge, G-VG; 1949 Vol:f/piece+152, photo-plates as 1948, small tipped in notice of death of BBC Middle East correspondent John Nixon 'in the course of his duties' between pp.74/5, not obvious faults, clean unclipped jacket sealed as acquired, a little edge-rubbing VG; 1950 Vol: f/piece+176, photo-plates as previous vols; pristine bar faint trace of gutter tanning off-set from jacket, jacket, in acetate sleeve as acquired, clean unclipped with just hint of spine end rubbing VG-Fine. A very attractive set of these early BBC Yearbooks, the 1933 one being particularly scarce, especially with jacket. All 12.5 cm x 16.5 cms.
