New York: Limited Editions Club, 1969. Hardcover. Fine in glassine and a close to Fine slipcase. Edouard Detaille. Quarto (8-1/8" x 10-3/4") bound in olive green cowhide, stamped in gold, with sides covered in a French hand-made marbled paper. Introduction by Drew Middleton, military correspondent of the New York Times with an Epilogue, "The Waterloo Dispatch," by Reginald Colby. The illustrations are reproduced from engravings by Edouard Detaille. Copy #887 of 1600 SIGNED by Middleton on the colophon page. Monthly Letter laid in.
