Philadelphia: John C. Winston Company. Very Good in Very Good- dust jacket. 1953. First Edition. Hardcover. 207 p. 22 cm. Sound and square binding in red, cloth-covered boards with black, stamped spine titles. Moisture stain along the front edge of the lower board. Small area of fading on the spine tail. One corner lightly bumped, all are slightly worn. A couple of tiny scratches to the text block edges. Both inner hinges have slight darkening. Price erasure on the front free endpaper. The inside pages are clean and unmarked with the very light age toning. Dustjacket has edge wear, including chips up to .75 x 1", and some small creases and tiny edge tears. Stain mark on the top of the rear flap fold. Rear white panel is lightly soiled. Price clipped. A title in the Winston Science Fiction series for juvenile readers. Jacket designed by Kenneth Fagg and endpapers designed by Alex Schomburg. .
