Near fine, 1st edition (private press, numbered 357/1000), marbled covered boards, white titling plate on black spine; text block firm, pages partially trimmed and some uncut. Signed on ffep with dedication to Sir Campbell Stuart (1885-1972), a Canadian press baron who eventually died in London. Typography by Bruce Rogers. Stuart's bookplate on front pastedown.. 8vo (230 x 150 / 9"" x 6""). Sir Thomas White (1866-1955) was a Canadian politician and this collection of his poems was privately published in Canada immediately after the war.
