Gold paper over boards and spine with bright black lettering on the spine. 180 pp 8vo. Lt. Col. Hambleton was a 53-year-old Air Force pilot who was shot down over the jungles of Vietnam and parachuted to safety only to be pursued by the North Vietnamese for 12 days resulting in the largest one-man rescue operation in Air Force history. The ordeal of Bat-21 is real and combination of his personal narrative and recently declassified Air Force documents. A clean very presentable copy.
