About This Item
New York: Whittlesey House, 1948. Book. Illus. by Lenny Hollreiser. Very Good +. Hardcover. First Edition/First Printing. A square solid tight very carefully read copy. The text block edges are browning, some lightish board edge wear. The 2.50 priced jacket has some rubbing wear, some edge wear, some browning, some soil, several short closed tears, chipping at the top and heel of the spine. Actually a pretty nice copy with a jacket that is about 98% complete after considering the flaws above. Advisory board of Baseball experts Carl Hubbell, Bill Dickey, Frankie Frisch and Art Fletcher. There is also a special chapter included by Red Barber " How to Score ". THIS COPY IS IN MY POSSESSION AND WILL NORMALLY SHIP NEXT DAY..
