List of Bartolozzi Works, more than 2000 entries. Index in each volume. "His etchings in imitation of the drawings of the most eminent painters, admirably represent the spirits of the originals, and he was not less successful in the exquisitely finished plates he produced in the various styles he practiced." [see: BRYAN'S DICTIONARY, Vol.I, p.91]. FREITAG 440. Backstrips nicked at extremities, two small spots cover Vol.II, covers slightly soiled, uncut. Interior clean, fresh and tight with age-toning to first few and least leaves at outer margins.
