Complete matched Baroque Cycle set, three volumes comprising of Quicksilver; Confusion; The System of the World. All volumes are first edition first printings. Hardback books are tight clean and square. Boards sharp and clean, title gilt perfect. Text blocks clean, with light toning to edges. All three books have light bumping to head of spines and are slightly shaken at head of spines due to the weight of text block. Set feels lightly read, and all volumes are very firmly bound. Volume One Quicksilver has more pronounced toning than the other two volumes with feint spotting to foreedge, and has a gift inscription to FEP, and hence grades very good. Volume Two The Confusion, is a nice square solid copy and grades near fine. Volume Three The System of the World again is a very nice copy and grades near fine. Jackets have some very light handling marks to the gloss, and some minor crimping to the edges notably at the head of the spines. Overall a near fine set. For grading accuracy books are photographed without a protective book cover. These books are fitted with a non adhesive archival quality book protectors to make a quality addition to your collection. White wraps very good with light soil, shelf-wear and edgewear; small sticker ghosts to volume two at lower spine and top right corner of front cover. Spines square; light reading creases to volume one, and slight wrinkles at spine to volume three. Bindings sound. Light soil to textblock edges, edges of volume one lightly foxed. Interiors bright, texts unmarked.
