Billings' magnum opus, a compendium of 240 finely rendered engravings of the castles, halls & churches of Scotland, hithertofore but scarcely considered, with commentary. Unpaginated; 240 fine engraved plates, many with a few pages of letterpress description, small wood engravings within the text.. First Edition. Full Leather. Good. Illus. by Author. 9" by 11¼". Set.
