(1st) Slightly smaller book, brown cloth with gilt initials tiny at front left, light brown tiny spots on exterior page edges, gilt lettering bright with border on spine, shiny address label at top inside front cover, 364 lightly browned pages, some illustrations. DJ heavy paper, light brown background with darker brown illustration of sailships bombarding coastline on front, spine and back right. DJ has light brown spots at top front, microtear at spine bottom left edge and top back edge near tip, micronick there too, very slight surface wear at bottom back tip, very tiny nicking along bottom back edge near spine. Near Very Good DJ/Very Fine book.
