London: Printed for Thomas Cox, 1726-28. 2 vols., 8vo (190 x 115 mm), [6], 570; [2], 571-894, [2]pp., with final advert leaf, 6 engraved plates, woodcuts in the text, titles printed in red and black (lightly soiled), new endpapers, expertly bound by Trevor Lloyd of Ludlow in half mottled calf, marbled boards, spines with five raised bands, gilt tooled, red morocco title label lettered in gilt, a very attractive copy. Kent's abridged edition of John Guillim monumental work on heraldry, A Display of Heraldrie, first published in London in 1610.
