Volume I covered the story of modern civil aviation in Papua New Guinea from the end of the Second World War to 1960, the year in which Qantas left PNG. The second volume (Volume II) continues the account to 1976, with its central theme the story of Talair and its rise to the position of one of the largest third-level operators in the world. This third and final volume in the Balus trilogy brings the story up to date including the growth of a national airline, Air Niugini.. Signed by Author. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good.
