Illustrated endpapers. 153 pp Compiled under the auspices of the Maryland Historical Society. SIGNED BY AUTHOR Francis F. Beirne on verso of free front endpaper. Also SIGNED by James W. Foste, Director of the Maryland Hisorical Society. rVery generously illustrated throughout with vintage historic black and white photographs, maps and reproductions of early paintings and engravings. An excellent volume with very fresh, clean cloth, tight, bright, unmarked and apparently unread, in a clean, tight, sharp, unclipped dust jacket with a closed edge tear at rear spine corner and rear forecorner and a touch of light edgewear at rear bottom panel. Fine in very good plus dust jacket. A great copy with a scarce combination of signatures..
