Handsomely bound copy of the first edition in full blue morocco, gilt spine lettering and ruling, raised spine bands, gilt ruled inner dentelles, top edge gilt, other edges uncut, marbled endpapers, frontis plate, a total of fifty Thomson illustrations, ribbon bookmark, 89 pages. Binding signed Taffin. Subtle spine fading, joints rubbed but secure, sound text block, clean pages free from names or other markings.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
