The author spent six years among this small aboriginal tribe in the Satpura Mountains of central India. As well as the anthropological discussions of race, language, economics, sexuality, magic etc, there are autobiographies of several tribesmen and full translations of legends, songs, riddles and folk-tales.Fine in very good indeed, slightly nicked dustwrapper. Uncommon.
