New York: Sears and Company, Inc., 1928 Book. Near Fine. Hardcover. Presumed first edition. Dark green boards with gilt lettering on the front and spine, gilt medallion design centered on the front board, 300 pages, 29 illustrations. Slight bulge on the spine, front top corner lightly rubbed, small scratch on the top edge, previous owner's personalized bookplate and, above it, the owner's name and date(year of pub.) on the front endpaper. The gilting is very bright. Chipping around all the edges and extremities on the Brodart protected jacket, a few chips on the spine as well, not price clipped($5.00). A superb copy overall..
