London: Ernest Benn Limited. Very Good in Very Good dust jacket. 1961. First Edition. Hardcover. 0510155014 . 96 p. 22 cm. Sound and square binding, in brown cloth-covered boards. Upper board slightly bowed. Minor wear to corners and spine ends. A couple of dings to front edge of text block. Inside pages are clean and unmarked, with a hint of darkening to the edges. Dustwrapper has wear to the edges, moreso the corners and spine ends. There is a darkened area on the front panel. Some overall soil to both panels. Not price clipped. The story of a year in the life of a male/female pair of badgers. Denys Watkins-Pitchford is known for his observant and empathetic stories and illustrations of nature and wildlife. Illustrated with black and white scraperboard drawings by the author. .
