Lithographed folding map, 99 x 76 cm, printed in colours, dissected into 9 panels and laid on linen, brass eylets mounted in upper margin, marginal pin-holes, a few minor spots and stains. A schoolroom map of Africa, showing the redistribution of Germany’s African colonies among the victorious Allies which was agreed at Versailles. Bacon’s Norwich Street address in the imprint was occupied by the firm between 1919 and 1922. Map
