Illustrated with four color plates and in-text ink drawings by Edward A. Wilson. Sunning to top of boards. Decorative bookplate from "Library of the University of Oregon" on front pastedown, marked as "Withdrawn." 1 x 1 inch sticker residue to front endpaper. Spine and hinges are tight. Rubbing to corners and spine edge, and chips at spine bottom, of dust jacket. Protected in mylar. Drawings by Edward A. Wilson, Introduction by Lincoln Colcord.
