London, Macdonald, 1951.. FIRST EDITION 1951, 8vo, red cloth, black vignette to upper cover, black lettered spine, 96 pages. A new collection of Searle's humorous drawings, of which 40 pages are of St. Trinian's cartoons. No inscriptions, top edges slightly dusty with a few fox spots, tiny slightly faded areas at head and tail of spine, otherwise a near Fine clean crisp copy in VG DUSTWRAPPER (dw: price clipped, head and tail of spine and corners slightly worn with tiny chips, 3 mm (1/8") missing at head of spine, two 25 mm (1") closed edge tears, another slightly larger to top edge of front inner flap and one 5 mm (¼") to top edge of lower panel with small crease, all neatly repaired on reverse, spine slightly darkened).
