First edition of this baby book for a baby born in 1908.Much of the information has been filled in. Frontispiece in colour in color and 30 illustrations in black and white.by Maud Humphrey who was the mother of Humphrey Bogart. A very good copy.

Many hand-written entries concerning a tot named Loring Townsend Clark from a rural New Hampshire town, born in 1915. Also a lock of hair taped onto the proper place/page. A very popular book with the full color frontispiece and 30 B&W illustrations, the contents are absolutely fine. Laid-in is a blank birth announcement card from that period, assumed one left over from the parents proud day.

The book largely filled in for a 1904 baby ("William Jacob Hitschler"), with additions of baby drawings, cloth soiled, a couple of stains on the front board, an about very good copy. The artist modeled many of her adorable baby illustrations on her son, Humphrey Bogart.

First edition with 12 full page color illustrations and 30 in black and white .Maud Humphrey was the mother of Humphrey Bogart so it is believed that she used him as a model in her drawings.A very good copy.

The title page and all of the color illustrations are dated 1898. The black & white illustrations are actually printed in a light green. At least half of the pages are filled in. Some extensive full-page writings to a few pages. Several small articles, cards, and notes laid in loose or glued in. Most of the entries are dated 1908. The cloth is lightly soiled, finger-marked. Very tight. Includes the very scarce original two-part box. A large, printed label is mounted to the top. It is in only fair condition. The lower side of the top is present but detached. Missing about 5" of another side of the top. The bottom is complete, but all the corners are split. Various soiling and staining to the upper and lower box panels. ; 4to 11" - 13" tall .
