Fyorda [Fürth, Germany]: Hayim ben Hirsh mi-Fyorda, 1740. Hardcover. Fair. First thus. Small folio. [24] leaves. Text in Hebrew. Later dark blue cloth boards, gilt spine title. A trimmed copy affecting some of the letterpress in the outer margins only, with scattered professional tape repairs (Japanese paper) to the edges, and one piece of cloth tape along the spine, else good. One of the shorter tractates of the Talmud, it deals with various offenses punishable by makkot (flogging). From the library of Rabbi Harry H. Epstein (Atlanta, Georgia), with his embossed name stamp.
