Light grey cloth with dark grey decorations on the boards and dark grey lettering on the spine. Beautiful endpapers and pastedowns. Price of $2.50 on the front flap of the dust jacket. A Caldecott medal sticker has been applied to the jacket's front panel. Illustrated with several full-page color drawings throughout done by Nicolas Sidjakov. Baumgarten 183. The winner of the 1961 Caldecott Award. A beautifully-illustrated story of a Russian woman's pilgrimmage to see the Christ child. A small tape ghost and closed tear on the rear panel of the dust jacket.

Synopsis

Baboushka and the Three Kings is a book by Ruth Robbins and illustrated by Nicolas Sidjakov. Released by Parnassas, it was the recipient of the Caldecott Medal for illustration in 1961.
