About This Item
New York: Harrison Smith and Robert Haas, 1935. First American edition [1935]. A little worn, but generally good. Pictorial yellow hardcover with light green cloth spine, 14.5 inches tall, decorative endpapers with lots of elephants against a marbled blue background, no dustjacket. Covers rubbed with a few scuffs and fraying to spine ends, corners heavily rubbed, good hinges (lower portion of front hinge reglued), sound text block, clean pages with a few very minor closed tears (no paper loss) to the bottom margins - no doubt the result of overeager little fingers turning the pages too quickly), personal bookplate inside front cover, no other names or markings.. First US Edition. Hard Cover. Good/No. Folio - 12" - 15" Tall.
