About This Item
New York: North South Books, 1994. First Edition First Printing . Hardcover. Fine/Very Good. 11 1/2" X 8 3/4. Katya Arnold. A cruel stepmother wants to get rid of her stepdaughter forever. . . Unpaginated, and illustrated in a bold, colorful style inspired by Russian 'lubok' art. This is this author's first book and is based on a story from the collection compiled by 19th century folklorist Aleksandr Afanas'ev. Black pictorial boards open up to incredible ep's and a truly beautifully illustrated book. Book has bit of white showing at head of spine and three corners, ow it is as new. Unclipped ($14.95) DJ has short closed tears at top corners and bit of edge/shelf wear. It is still eminently lovable! Bookseller's Inventory # 133587.

About Lower Beverley Better Books
An online bookstore that just grew from a combination of a love of books, a desire to save them from landfill and an inability to bypass yard sales. A considerable percentage of my inventory is signed editions. I also take pride in my Canadiana catalogue.
