Scalo, Gottingen, 1998. First Edition. Hardcover (Printed Boards). Fine Condition/No Dust Jacket. PROLL, ASTRID. Baader Meinhof, Pictures on the Run 66-77, Gottingen: Scalo, 1998. Octavo, first edition, pp. 140, illustrated matte boards, text by Proll in German/English side-by-side translation, photos by Proll and others, some unknown. Fine, some leaves over-opened. Proll, the editor, was trained as a photographer and joined the Baader Meinhof group early on. She doesn't seem to have been cut out for the terrorist life, and was arrested within about a year, after which she did some extremely isolated prison time. She tells us the images here are free of their mass-media context. Size: Octavo (standard book size). Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting.
