The pictorial dust jacket is complete, but has faded to the spine and has old tape strengthening to the extremities on the verso, showing through and thus good only. 384pp.

Very Good condition in a bright and shiny Very Good dust jacket (lightly rubbed, frayed at the head of the spine, and with one small chip. The jacket is protected by a removable Brodart clear-plastic sleeve. Photo illustrated endpapers. Boyington was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor for his achievements while leading the Black Sheep squadron in the South Pacific during WW2. He was a Japanese POW for a year. Bound in the original dark green silver-stamped boards. One corner of the cover is mildly bumped but NO pages are affected.. NOT a remainder. Pages are crisp, clean and unmarked. NO underlining.
