Very Good condition in a bright and shiny Very Good dust jacket (lightly rubbed, frayed at the head of the spine, and with one small chip. The jacket is protected by a removable Brodart clear-plastic sleeve. Photo illustrated endpapers. Boyington was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor for his achievements while leading the Black Sheep squadron in the South Pacific during WW2. He was a Japanese POW for a year. Bound in the original dark green silver-stamped boards. One corner of the cover is mildly bumped but NO pages are affected.. NOT a remainder. Pages are crisp, clean and unmarked. NO underlining.
