Some spotting to endpapers and top edge, a few pages creased from being turn over. Price clipped dust-jacket shows well with just some slight fading to spine and some creasing to the top and bottom edges. Very good. From the blurb; "Have we reached the stage where we can accept a coloured squire, Anne Abbott delves into the deep roots of our native snobbery in Baa Baa Black Sheep, her first novel... set in an unspecified part of rural England which appears to have missed not only the twentieth century but the nineteenth as well.
