DJ has chips and tears, rubbed along edges, protected from further damage in clean Brodart jacket. Price has been clipped out bottom RH corner of front flap. Some staining to endpapers. 272 pages. 4th in the AWOL series about a Doberman War Dog. Written by a former football star from Brown University who was also a professional wrestler. He acted in a few movies, and toward the end of his life lectured at civic clubs and schools. This title reunites Awol with Colonel Harper who had known the dog in WWII but nw finds the dog in South Korea. Scarce title in the series..
