London: The Poetry Bookshop, 1923, 8 3/4 x 5 3/4 inches, plain brown paper wrappers embossed and decorated elegantly in black, custom clamshell slipcase is half natural linen with marbled paper covered boards and black leather spine label stamped in gold, 24 pages. Illustrated with woodcuts by Eric Gill--the wood engraving Autumn Midnight is the frontispiece, a leaf ornament on the front cover, four small decorations, and 17 decorated initials. Printed at S. Dominic's Press, Ditchling. Very good plus condition, front and back cover pages are wrinkled, slight cracking to paper spine, slight aging to lower edges of some pages, slipcase in fine condition. Overall, an attractive copy. Evan Gill number 273, like the second copy described by Gill, but SIXPENCE is spelled correctly.
