Clara Barton perhaps the best known nurse in American History, primarily remembered today for organizing the American Red Cross. Nice letter by Barton to Lt Binckley, responding to a letter from him, and recalling their initial meeting years ago during the Galveston hurricane of 1900.... "I shall be glad to hear of your family and learn what occupies you as a business. ... With warm thanks for your letter and expecting to hear again I remain / Very Sincerely Yours, Clara Barton.
