He writes: ".....I shall await your instructions as to where I should send the.....small drawings of Mrs. Hemans, Miss Mitford and Mrs. Loudon (L.E.L.) "Most like refering to the the Exhibition of Women's Industries held at Bristol early this year. This exhibition, the first of its kind, i.e. entirely devoted to the arts and industries of women only, was organised by the Irish suffragist Helen Blackburn (1842-1903).
