Chicago. Softcover. Creasing. Very Good. A large (9-7/8" x 6-3/4") postcard from the famous jazz supper club The London House in Chicago SIGNED "To Edna/Best wishes/Barbara Carroll." Carroll was dubbed by critic Leonard Feather as "the first girl ever to play bebop piano." She was awarded the Kennedy Center's Mary Lou Williams Women in Jazz Lifetime Achievement Award in 2003. Also SIGNED by Lonnie Simmons and legendary Chicago broadcaster Marty Faye.
