London : George Allen and Unwin Ltd, 1967. 1st Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Two volumes of The Autobiography of Bertrand Russell Volume one 18972-1914, Volume two 1914-1944. Both hardback first edition first printings. Both books are tight clean and square. Boards sharp and clean. Bumped to head and foot of spine, title gilt perfect. Text blocks clean, with light toning and scattered spotting to edges. Top edge stains faded. Both books have previous owners name in ink and previous booksellers neat pencil price. The pages are crisp with the occasional spot. Feel gently read. Very good condition. Jackets have crimping and light wear to edges, rubs to corners and joint ends. Volume one has a sunned spine. Volume two has loss to foot of spine and an 8 mm split to bottom of front joint . Overall very good copies. For grading accuracy books are photographed without a protective book cover. This book is fitted with a non adhesive archival quality book protector to make a worthy addition to your collection. Note we do not use stock images, the book pictured is the book described.
