New York: The Macmillan Company, 1927. First published March, 1916; this is a Very Good copy of a "New and reset edition with additional material, Published February, 1927." This is the trade edition; a limited edition was published about a month earlier. Wade, 152. Green cloth binding with art deco blindstamping on the front cover; titling in gilt on the spine. Clean text; 477 pages. Frontis illustration and four others within [one is in colour; others black and white]. The paste downs are illustrated, featuring a unicorn. Mildly rubbed at the margins; spine has faded to a sort of golden tan, rendering the gilt titling readable but less prominent than desired. Lacking a dustjacket; in an archival plastic protector.. First Thus. Decorative Cloth. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
