Hardcovers with laminated pictorial boards presented in cardboard slip case, two volume set, first edition, 362gms, 96 pages (48 pages/book). 'From Sunlit Plains' (#1) presents 14 Australian poems including The Ballad of the Drover, Old Botany Bay, and Bell-birds. 'A Sunburnt Country' presents 16 poems including My Country, The Man From Snowy River, and Where Dead Men Lie. Books are in good condition with only very minor general wear and tear. Boards are also in good condition with only light shelf wear and some mild sun fading to the spine. Slip case is in good condition with moderate shelf wear to corners and edges, otherwise no other preloved markings..
