Superb Australiana magazine reflecting the immediate and early WW2 critical issues affecting Australia and its position in global affairs including the military (Navy, Army, Airforce), overseas exhibitions, art, personalities of the day, architecture, industry, tourism, the New York Fair , Lindsay family contributions (Norman & Lionel), sport, fashion, Darwin, Balinese beauties !, journalism, industrial design, war materiele manufacturing, Royal Show , building local aircraft, propaganda, brewing, overseas food production, women in the work force , the "New World Order" (traces of appeasement) etc etc - a fascinating microcosm of the Australian state of mind in this early WW2/Menzies era - important and rare - a good run - the magazine dwindled to a small digest format in later war years
