Full leather, Very well kept, strongly bound, pages are crisp and strong, corners untouched, slight browning from age, signature to front and a date in pen top right title page, tear to the cover page, all shown in the images. 19th century rebinding, very good with some wear. Joannis/John Bond (c. 1550 - 1612) was an English physician, classical scholar, and Member of Parliament. This edition of Persius with his commentary, although not published until after his death.
