Oxford and London: Parker & Co., 1881. Book. Good. Hardcover. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Seventh edition. Pale red cloth with gilt decoration to front cover and spine.Top edge gilt. Condition: Good with general shelfwear to covers, slightly more so to head and tail of spine, which is also lightly sunned. Light foxing to endpapers. Binding cracked in a couple of places and rear inner hinge beginning to crack but otherwise sound. Previous owners name on front endpaper and again on the rear of the front endpaper together with another earlier owners' name. 344pp. plus publishers list. Many b/w engravings within text as well as several b/w plates..
