New York: John Wiley & Sons, Inc. [1958], 1958. First edition. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. 8vo. [4], v-viii, [2], 1-101, [1] pp. Blue cloth with white and black lettering on the front board and spine. Price of $3.95 on the front flap of the dust jacket. Illustrated with a few in-text diagrams. With an advertising pamphlet from "The Library of Science", advertising Bohr's book and Werner Heisenberg's Physics and Philosophy (both of these titles were released in 1958) laid in (pamphlet measures 18.5 c.m. x 8.5 c.m.). The pamphlet is printed in white and green, and contains a review for each book and the table of contents for each publication. A collection of seven, "essays" (a few speeches and two articles) written by the world-famous physicist. The work ranges from 1932 to 1957, and illuminates Bohr's arguments on how humans understand the physical world. Jacket with a closed tear and a small hole-punch on its front panel.
