New York: New York Arts, 1951. First U.S. Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine/Near Fine. 8vo., 294pp. Sharp New Edition. Originally published in the UK as Krakatit in 1925, and as An Atomik Phantasy in 1948. This would be the first American Edition and Third published in English. Square, tight and clean throughout with some softness to the spine ends and a small bump to the bottom front edge. Bookplate on front paste-down. Equally attractive clipped dust jacket, has a couple of tiny closed tears on the top front edge. and some mild soiling to the rear panel. Still fresh and bright with no creasing, chipping, or tears. A very pretty collectable copy of a very uncommon title.
