New York: Lewis Historical Publishing Company, Inc, 1954. First Edition. Hardcover. Fair. Tall thick quartos. 3 volumes; xxi, 964 pages; [6], 1070 pages; [3], 634 pages. Several illustrations in the first two volumes. Volume III has photograph portraits. Blue cloth hardcovers with gilt lettered titles on the spines. Restored. Blue dye applied to the cloth bindings to cover superficial insect damage to the covers and spine. Interior contents very clean with occasional light foxing to the end papers and the foredge.
