London: Rapp & Whiting. Very Good- in Good+ dust jacket. 1968. 1st UK Edn. Hardcover. Dark blue cloth bound boards with bright gilt titling to the spine. In the original publisher's decorated dustjacket, which is not price-clipped. There is wrinkling/creasing to the dustjacket covers, along with stain marks, shelf-wear and edg-wear to the dustjacket extremities. There is fading to the front bottom edge of the cloth boards and there are light (foxing) brown spots to the page fore-edges. There is sunning to the endpapers, otherwise there are NO inscriptions or other marks. (xi) + 228 pp. Overall, apart from the 'faults', as detailed above, this is a Tight and Secure, 'Very Good Minus' copy. "Dr Asimov has collected in this book thirteen of his mysteries together with an overall introduction and a commentary on each story." ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall .
