About This Item
The Arthur H. Clark Company, 1941. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Very Good. First revised edition. Full green cloth with gilt lettering & rules to spine, top edge gilt, other edges untrimmed, 9-1/2" tall, 360 pp., folding map frontis, plate illustrations including one other map. Stain and paper pull to front endpapers, possibly removal of bookplate, else near fine. A handsome copy of an important work which I personally found to be more readable than comparable works.
