New York: Mitchell Kennerley, 1912. First Edition. . Hardcover. Very Good+/No Jacket. Bound in orange cloth with titles stamped in black. Corresponding 1912 dates to the title and copyright pages; no additional printings. 315 pages. Title page reads "By the author of Mastering Flame". Cranston first issued this book anonymously; apparently later editions credited her pen name Anne Warwick with authorship (although we could not locate a copy for sale). The cloth shows just a touch of edgewear, with the head and heel of the spine gently pressed inward. A touch of soil to the rear cover. No splits or frays. Hinges solid; binding square. A clean, tight, unmarked copy. Scarce. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall
