Black and white photograph of author to the rear panel. An autobiography and semi-fiction travel story of a migrant family. Some of the names have been slightly altered, to avoid embarrassment. Softening of the back strip edges with rubbing of the book corners. Tanning of the text block edges and there is a splash mark to the lower edge of the front panel. Rubbing of the dustwrapper edges and panels. Staining of the lower right-hand corner of the front panel and there is a remnants of a sticker to the top quarter of the same panel.
