The Fine Arts Press, Sydney, 1986. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good Condition/Good. X, 246 pp., preface by editors, acknowledgements. Illustrated endpapers, both different, front endpaper showing Moreton Bay Fig from the garden at Glenrock, rear endpaper showing horse drawn buses outside Fiona and John Cock's Hotel circa 1880. Black and white photographic frontispiece, showing front door at Glenrock. Within the text there are copious black and white photographs from the schools' history. Brown coloured boards with the school emblem blind stamped on front panel gilt writing on spine. Photographic dustwrapper, showing same scene as front end paper, with white writing on front panel and spine. Centenary history of Ascham Girls School. Inserted loosely into the book is a 'Ascham Old Girls' Union News Sheet' dated June 1980. Book corners slightly rubbed and there is rubbing to the head and the heel of the spine. Some bumping and shelf wear evident to the bottom edges of the book. There is a punch hold in the spine, halfway down. Previous owners name, in pen, on the front paste down. Minor rubbing to the dustwrapper has occurred. Punch mark commensurate with hole underneath in spine. Size: 4to 9¾" - 12" tall. Please refer to accompanying picture (s). Quantity Available: 1.
