Quarto hardcover, tight binding, cleand and bright pages, none marked, the covers have no discernable wear, one miniscule bump, else VG+++ to NFINE in dustjacket, which has large chips at edges, now in clear mylar wrap. This book is considered the first major postwar Japanese photo book, with photographs of both Tokyo and Chicago. The photos can be divided into two groups, being representational--children in Chicago, and abstract, focusing around forms and textures seen in Japan. A book of international reputation. ; ; 4to 11" - 13" tall .
